Pi Attends Annual Conference of the China Urban Water Association

Pi’s sales director, Dr Rob Paramore, recently returned to the UK following a busy 5-day visit to China.

Rob’s first meeting was with Pi’s master distributor, Huzhou IMP Environmental Technology Ltd. (IMP), at their new headquarters in the Zhejiang Province. Fred Fan, the general manager of IMP and his team met with Rob to catchup on IMP’s most recent business activity. As Pi’s master distributor, a large proportion of Pi’s business in China is facilitated by IMP.  Happy with the progress so far, Rob and Fred mutually agreed to increase investments to expand Pi’s reach in the Chinese market of water quality analysis equipment.

Rob then met with Pi’s representative in China Chen Jiang, at a water treatment plant located in the Yangtze River Delta. This site currently has 9 turbidity monitoring systems and 6 chlorine monitoring systems supplied by Pi. Pi’s TurbSense® and HaloSense are installed here monitoring raw water, process water, and the plant’s outlet water. The end user was so impressed with how easy to use and reliable their existing 15 Pi systems are, that they held a meeting with Rob and Chen Jiang to discuss the next few systems that they were interested in purchasing from Pi.The 2025 Annual Conference of the China Urban Water Association was held in the Zhejiang Province in Hangzhou. Rob was invited to present Pi’s products at the conference to industry experts. Specifically, Rob focused on Pi’s charge analyser, LabSense, and Pi’s coagulation controller, CoagSense. This was also a brilliant networking opportunity for Rob, where he was able to meet other distributors in the water industry.
