Pi recently dispatched one of their brand new hybrid free and total residual chlorine monitor (Chloribrid®) systems to Northern Ireland Water. This marks the beginning of an exciting trial for both Pi and Northern Ireland Water!

Based in Belfast, Northern Ireland Water supplies fresh, clean water to 1.8 million people every day across Northern Ireland. Pi is proud to be a part of the approximately 560 million litres of clean water distributed per day across Northern Ireland!

The Chloribrid® is an innovative, novel development from Pi. It combines all the benefits of two powerful techniques for residual chlorine monitoring, electrochemical sensors (e.g. HaloSense) and a colourimetric method (DPDSense). You no longer need to choose! Chloribrid® from Pi can monitor free or total residual chlorine. It has advantages including being self checking, infrequent maintenance (6 months*), works right out of the box, no routine calibration, it is self calibrating and has low TOTEX.
