Pi is an Official Supplier of Dwr Cymru for Another 2 Years

Process Instruments (UK) Ltd. has been an official supplier of Dwr Cymru (formerly Welsh Water) since 2022. We are happy to announce that this agreement has been extended for another two years, with the addition of more products to the ‘official supplier’ list.

Dwr Cyrmu’s has just invested in their first online UV254 system from Pi. This system uses Pi’s UV254Sense Probe to monitor real time organic UVA (ultra-violet absorbance) and UVT (ultra-violet transmission) analysis. The UV254Sense Probe is tough and field proven, stable and reliable for excellent process control and suitable for all waters.

Dwr Cymru has also recently installed their first automatic coagulation control system from Pi. The CoagSense is a coagulation controller that is configured and optimised to each site whilst accepting multiple inputs from multiple parameters such as turbidity, streaming current, pH, temperature, flow etc. It has been designed to be used in highly variable raw water sources, whilst remaining easy to use and maintain. This makes CoagSense the perfect coagulation controller across many water treatment applications.

Other systems include but are not limited to hypochlorite monitoring systems, alkalinity monitoring systems, DAF control systems, as well as free and total chlorine monitoring systems. These are just a few of the 20+ systems that Pi officially supplies to Dwr Cymru.
